「結界 -kekkai-」
— 日常と非日常のあいだに立つ、静かな境界線

「結界」という言葉には、空間を分け、気持ちを整える力があります。
このプロジェクトでは “ただの店舗”ではなく、訪れた人が自然と気持ちを切り替えられるような日常と非日常の“あいだ”にある場所を目指しました。
入口の大きな木の建具は、空間全体の象徴として設計し、扉を開ける瞬間から空気が変わる感覚になるように意識しました。
素材そのものの質感を活かしながら、照明や視線の設計で“静けさ”を丁寧にデザインしました。
カウンターの曲線、壁面のアート、座敷エリアの間の取り方にもこだわり、お客様が長く心地よく過ごせる空間に仕上げています。

伝統や文化を感じさせながらも、決して堅くなりすぎない。
“和”の空気を今の時代に合ったかたちで表現する、そんなバランスを大切にしました。

"Kekaai"
— A quiet boundary line standing between the ordinary and the extraordinary

The word “barrier” holds the power to divide spaces and settle the mind.
This project aimed not just for a “simple store,” but for a place existing in the “in-between” of the everyday and the extraordinary—a space where visitors can naturally shift their mindset.
The large wooden entrance doors were designed as a symbol for the entire space, consciously crafted to create a sense of the atmosphere changing the moment they open.
We carefully crafted a sense of tranquility through lighting and sightlines, while highlighting the inherent textures of the materials themselves.
Attention to detail in the counter's curves, the wall art, and the spacing of the tatami seating areas ensures a space where guests can linger comfortably.

It evokes tradition and culture without ever feeling overly formal.
We valued striking that balance: expressing the essence of Japanese aesthetics in a form suited to the present era.
